Sofa was invented back in 2000 BC in Egypt and used by then Egyptan Kings (Pharoh). Sofa was derived from an Arabic word, "Suffah". Now it is called Sofa. After the fall of Roman empires. it became extinct from the rich and modern lifestyle for about 1000+ years. But in the middle of 16th century, European craftsmen reimagined and reinvented the sofa for a modern and comfortable lifestyle. In 18th century design element became a very important part to match the modern architecture and interior decoration. And now it has become an integral part of our flamboyant lifestyle and luxury.
